What a muddy day at the @x2obadkamerstrofee in Hamme, our Lions fought hard through the slippery mud and finished strong! 🦁🔥

2 podium spots and 2 leads in the general ranking.

@lucinda_brand finishing with silver keeping her lead in the general rankings with 2:08!
@david_haverdings comes in at 3rd place making him 2nd in the general rankings with 0:55 behing the leader.
@larsvanderhaar finishes 5th while keeping his lead in the general rankings with 0:02.

Both @fleur_moors & @pimronhaar_ coming in at 9th place, @seppevandenboer05 finishes at 13 and sadly with a hard fall in the last round @thibau_nys comes in with a spot at 14.

Shirin van Anrooij has undergone successful surger

Shirin van Anrooij has undergone successful surgery for iliac artery endofibrosis.

After experiencing unusual sensations in her left leg during the second half of the road racing season, Shirin van Anrooij was diagnosed with a narrowing of her external iliac artery. On 31st October, Shirin underwent a successful surgery to widen the artery, and will now spend an extended period of rest before returning to training, and later racing.

Unfortunately, this means that Shirin will miss this cyclocross season.

An unforgettable day for the the team at the European Cyclocross Championships! 💥

Our team gave it their all on the fast course of Pontevedra 🇪🇸. @fleur_moors started off strong with a 5th place in the women U23 race. In the men's U23 race, @david_haverdings had an outstanding race but faced a last-minute setback, having to run the final meters due to a mechanical issue.

@lucinda_brand showed relentless determination, fighting her way back to the front repeatedly, ultimately finishing with a 3rd place among the women elites. 🥉

In the elite men’s race, our riders put in powerful performances. @pimronhaar_ started strong but eventually dropped back, finishing 20th. @larsvanderhaar was also batteling in the front. He just missed the podium in a close 5th place. 💪

But our day was finally complete with @thibau_nys who became European Champion in the elite category for the very first time! 🥇🇪🇺
