Lucinda op zucht van zege in Fayetteville

Lucinda Brand strandde zondag nipt op een tweede plek in de Wereldbekermanche van Fayetteville. Ze moest in het in de sprint afleggen tegen Fem Van Empel.

Bij de mannen knalde Thibau naar zijn tweede opeenvolgende top-5 plek. Thijs finishte knap 12de, eerstejaarsbelofte David 20ste. Pim kende een enorme tegenslag met een gebroken ketting bij de start. Hij vocht zich wel nog sterk terug van de laatste plaats naar plek 19.

Na het Amerikaanse avontuur vliegen de Baloise Trek Lions terug naar Europa met deze week de crossen in Ardooie en Tabor op het programma.
